Mizuno Wave Prophecy 2 Review

Around 15 years back, the company Mizuno came up with the Wave Plate technology and that you may have guessed will become the whole based of the shoes. Indeed, last year it eventually happened with the new invention of the Wave Prophecy shoes. Now, the latest Wave Prophecy 2 isn't much of a new creation but more an improvement of the already impressive design.

Mizuno purposed to present a perquisite, technology running shoe just when all the trends in running were headed the opposite direction. It appears to have struck a chord with runners however, as we now have a refined upper and a bit less weight in the Prophecy 2 while maintaining the super techy Infinity Wave midsole.

Review for Mizuno Wave Prophecy 2

Ever since I fit the Wave Prophecy 1, I knew what I would like to look forward to for the new version: much steady and supporting shoes. Mizuno Wave Prophecy shoes are honestly the only shoes I would wear for long haul running.

Mizuno Wave Prophecy 2 feature a stripped down upper package as for the rest of 2013 series of Mizuno line. Seeing that the Wave Prophecy 2 uses the same midsole design as before, I figured that the new shoe would fulfill identically to the legacy shoe. What I didn't expect was that the Wave Prophecy 2 would arrive to me in a Thomas the Train color way. So amazing !!

Mizuno Wave Prophecy 2 Sole Unit:.

Employing the most visually commanding midsole in all of foot wear, the Wave Prophecy is all about showcasing the Mizuno wave plate design philosophy. The shoes use an special sets of plastic plates to help guide and cushion the foot while doing exercise in them. These wave plates are designed for all type of foot.

After been wearing these shoes for the whole of its life-span, the Infinity Wave which is two plastic plates sandwiched together and connected by 11 rubber columns, does truly offer swift actions and outstanding level of shock resistant. Mizuno's X10 high durability carbon rubber is positioned in the heel and blown rubber comprises the rest of the wave shaped tread.

Feedback for Mizuno Wave Prophecy 2:.

As I pointed out previously, the Prophecy shoes are my only choice for any distance running and exercise. The fit experience is traditionally Mizuno with a close, fitted heel and mid foot that opens up to a freer fitting toe box. The depth of the upper is decidedly medium and the width sizes in fairly narrow through the mid foot. The Wave Prophecy 2 is also known for it's well constructed arch next to the heel. All these remarks add up to an exceptional fitting shoe that really inspires and protects me while running.
